A 44 Year Tradition: The Berea-Midpark Craft Show
One of the largest and longest-running craft shows in Northeast Ohio, the Berea-Midpark Craft Show has been a cherished community event since 1980. What began as a small fundraiser for the Midpark Music Boosters, known then as the Pumpkin Patch Show, has grown into a major annual gathering that draws thousands each fall.
Our Story
1980: The Pumpkin Patch Show launches, supporting the Midpark Music Boosters.
1990: A Spring show is added to complement the popular fall event.
2009: The Spring show is discontinued to focus on a single, larger fall event, which continues to grow in size and reputation.
2013: With the merger of Berea and Midpark High Schools, the event became the Berea-Midpark Craft Show, now supporting the Performing Arts Boosters and benefiting choir and drama students across the Berea City School District.
2019: The show features over 300 tables and welcomes more than 5,000 visitors.
2020: The show is paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2021: The event returns, hosting over 250 tables and attracting 3,000 attendees. Michelle Snyder has been appointed Vice President of the Berea-Midpark Boosters and serves as chairperson for the Berea-Midpark Craft Show.
2022: We welcomed 3,431 guests during a bright, sunny weekend and featured over 250 returning vendor tables.
2023: More than 3,200 guests joined us for another fantastic show! Our Craft Show Cafe debuted a new menu, which was a huge hit with attendees. Plus, we were featured in Mimi Vanderhaven Magazine, reaching readers in a dozen local communities.
2024: We expanded the show with 20+ new vendors and additional spaces. Nearly 4,000 guests attended, and Santa joined us all weekend for photos and holiday fun!
2025: Now celebrating its 44th year, the show continues to thrive, with more than 300 vendors expected and thousands of visitors anticipated.
Our Impact
Your participation directly supports student programs in music, choir, and drama, making a tangible difference in the lives of young artists throughout the district. Each year, over 100 student and parent volunteers work tirelessly to ensure the show is a success.
